iPad 2 Gets Official!!!

Its finally announced.  The latest tablet from apple is now official.  Steve Jobs announced in an event by Apple, the iPad2.  Now they made it slimmer,  8.6mm thin, much thinner than the 9.3mm iPhone 4.  Equipped with two camera and powered by a Dual Core A5 processor.

One of the new features of the iPad2 is the Smart Cover.  The cover react to the ipad2 itself, close the cover and your iPad2 turns to sleep, open it and it awakes.  You can also set up the cover to act as a stand when you making a video call and also act as a keyboard stand.  The cover comes in many colors that gives unique style to the iPad 2.
The iPad 2  ship date is March 11 for USA, and March 25 for some international customers.  I hope Philippines is included but i guess it not, just like the first one.

Canon MP190 Series Reset Guide

This is a very short guide in resetting your Canon MP190 Series Printer when you got a .  I have seen a lot of guide over the internet but most of them where not working and some are very hard to understand.  To reset your MP190 series, first you have to put your printer into service mode.
Steps to put your MP190 series to service mode

1. Unplug and plug the printer’s AC plug to the AC socket.
2. Press and hold the Stop/Reset button.
3. While holding the Stop/Reset  button, press and hold the power button.
4. Release the Stop/Reset button (keep on holding the Power button).
5. Press the Stop/Reset button twice and release the power button.
6. Wait for the printer to initialize and when it displays “0″ on the panel it means your done.

Now that your printer is in service mode, you are ready to reset the waist ink counter. First download Service Tool V1050 (Download link at the end of the post).  Extract the file and run the Service tool V1050

1. Determine which USB Port your printer is connected to and select it on the USB port drop down menu.
2. In the Clear Ink Counter Selection tick on the “Main”  button.
3. Then Tick on the “Plater” button.

Now your printer’s waste ink counter is set back to zero.

Robot Assistant Deployed at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant

 

A robot named Monirobo (Monitor robot) was deployed in Fukushima nuclear plant in japan. What does this robots do?  Well it was said to help workers at the nuclear power plant  in monitoring the radiation level. The 5-foot, 1,300-pound Monirobo has a robotic arm for collecting samples and moving obstacles, and it drives using a pair of treads. It is designed to go where humans can’t, using a radiation detector, four video cameras with 3-D capability, and temperature and humidity sensors. The  robots  was developed by Japan’s Nuclear Safety Technology Center in association with the Ministry of Economy.

The robot has two version, the red and yellow.  The red was design to detect radiation level while the yellow has different functionality. The yellow one is designed to collect dust samples and monitor flammable gas.
Its good to know that finally Japan is starting to move up and using all their technology to recover from the earthquake that brought disaster to their people.

AJ Perez, 18, is dead

AJ Perez, or Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez in real life, was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. The cause of his death, according to reports, is "multiple head injuries," which he sustained after his car got hit by a bus and a truck in Paniqui, Tarlac.

He just finished a show in Dagupan, Pangasinan, which celebrated its annual Bangus Festival. His last tweet—which was posted four hours ago, or around 11:00 p.m.—read, "On the way home already from Dagupan.Long drive ahead.. Thanks to everybody who watched..."

Darlasauler.com stated that the Star Magic talent was with his dad, a security personnel, and a driver, at the time the accident took place.
